The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service and professional expertise to thousands of dealers and millions of customers in over one hundred countries around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Full-Stack and Data Development: Develop and enhance full-stack applications, encompassing back-end APIs and services (primarily using Java/Spring Boot), front-end user experiences (utilizing TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS), and data solutions (leveraging GCP DataFlow, BigQuery, and GCS). Integrate with third-party internal and external libraries and APIs as needed to deliver business functionality.
  • Technical Leadership & Quality Assurance: Act as a Software Technical Anchor, engaging in hands-on engineering tasks while collaborating with the team and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products. Advocate for engineering excellence, exceptional usability, and outstanding quality by conducting code reviews, ensuring adherence to standards, patterns, and architecture principles. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and stability, and integrate with best-in-class analysis tools to improve code security and quality.
  • Application Lifecycle & Operations: Support the entire application lifecycle within an Agile team, from initial concept through design, development, test, deployment, and operational support. This includes instrumenting, measuring, and monitoring application performance using cloud-native toolsets (such as Grafana, Splunk, and GCP native tools).
  • Foundational Skills & Collaboration: Possess a sound understanding of CI/CD processes, agile development, and deep programming fundamentals, with the ability to learn new frameworks and languages.
