Our role in Vattenfall is to maximize the value of the overall portfolio by optimizing and dispatching, hedging, and sourcing for Vattenfall's sales and generation volumes. Within Markets BU Customers is enabling both Vattenfall and our customers to become fossil free. We do this by offering power purchase agreements to operators of wind or solar parks and by connecting customers to fossil free electricity. We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Angular and TypeScript to build and enhance mission-critical tools used directly by our traders. You will be part of the solution team working closely with business stakeholders. This team plays a leading role in delivering custom-built solutions that drive real business impact — all within a modern SCRUM framework. What you’ll do You and your team colleagues will analyse and develop software solutions using modern technologies and methodologies to nurture business development while staying compliant with our software architectural and security guidelines. Your responsibilities will include: Building and extending functionalities within our Intraday Continental IT landscape Developing and enhancing core tools used daily by our intraday traders, with a strong focus on Angular frontends and visualisation Performing hands-on application development and staying up to date with modern technologies Collaborating directly with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and processes Translating functional requirements into IT solutions Working in a mature agile/scrum team with a strong delivery mindset Qualifications Who you are Are you triggered by cutting edge technology and innovations?
