WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer I (Salesforce) to join our Personal Insurance organization as we grow and transform our Technology landscape. Individual will complete intermediate end to end engineering tasks for specific system assignments including developing, analyzing, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on user or system design specifications, as well as participating in troubleshooting, conducting impact analysis and escalating appropriately. APPLY FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS:

• Understand insurance-specific validation rules and field dependencies
• Implement basic automation using Process Builder for routine insurance tasks
• Set up basic Salesforce Connect configurations for read-only access to external insurance data
• Consume platform events in simple Apex triggers for policy and claims updates
• Implement basic REST callouts to external insurance APIs
• Configure Change Data Capture for standard insurance objects
