As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank's Markets Tech Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives. Job responsibilities * Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, backend and API applications. * Collaborate with cross functional and business teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. * Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation script, framework and process. * Work with Developers, BA and Product team to identify and address bugs and inconsistencies in software. * Be responsible to handle multiple projects at the same time. * Be proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment. * Participate and contribute in agile ceremonies . * Contribute to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience * 3+ years of experience in software testing. * Experience of open-source User Interface (UI) test tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Play wright etc. * Strong understanding of any programming language like Java and Python, Java Script. * Writing test automation scripts using BDD Tools - Cucumber, Spec flow, Gherkin etc. * Experience of API Testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI etc. * Support and evolve CI/CD Platform for continuous testing. * Experience in performance test execution like JMeter. * Hands on experience on Git /Gitlab runners /equivalent.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web, backend, and API applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Responsibilities also include developing documentation and addressing software inconsistencies with development and product teams.
