As a Software Engineer II, you will be building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. Your core responsibility will be backend development, including crafting APIs, implementing business logic, and integrating complex databases and external services, with contributions to front-end architecture as needed. You will lead by example, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and leverage generative AI tools to enhance coding productivity and application performance.
This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories)

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to system architecture, design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operation of components
  • Work directly with product management and your team while analyzing and decomposing complex software requirements into simple user stories for planning and execution
  • Own system and feature quality throughout the development, testing and deployment phases to ensure quality delivery expectations are met
  • Conduct new technology research, proof of concept, and design work that will assist in determining direction for the enhancement of the overall system and products
  • Provide operational support to components that your team owns, including 24/7 availability as needed
  • Work alongside other software engineers to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices for design, coding standards, performance, security, delivery, and maintainability
