REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other computer-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years work-related experience, preferably in a SaaS applications
  • Experience leading a small team using agile methodologies.
  • Hands on development using IDEs such as Microsoft Visual Studio, code repo management and CI/CD experience
  • Strong knowledge of these technologies:


    • JavaScript

    • API (.NET, NodeJS)
    • Relational databases
    • Public cloud experience
    • Knowledge of agile development processes.
    • Knowledge of common development patterns used in a multi-tier system.
    • Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
    • Excellent analytical and design skills at the enterprise level.
    • Excellent understanding of entire development process, including specifications, user stories, documentation and quality assurance.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a team dynamic.
    • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the technical skills necessary for completing own assignments and code reviewing other’s work.
    • Experience in supporting projects in both development and production environments, including external customer environments.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to delegate work and ensure delivery to a defined schedule.
    • Self-motivated learner, proactive in seeking help, with a passion for producing high-quality work products.
    • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

    Responsibilities
    • Lead a small team that may include offshore developers to deliver value quickly to customers
    • Develop sound technical and functional solutions to a given problem domain.
    • Participate in full life-cycle development of SaaS business applications for external customers.
    • Provide daily status updates and identify issues which may impede progress, propose and implement resolutions to those impediments.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
    • Exhibit strong technical analysis skills and routinely considers architectural-level issues.
    • Work independently as necessary.
    • Continuously look for opportunities to expand your knowledge in the technical and business domain.
    • Work with Customer Success to troubleshoot issues.
    • Evaluate the source of defects, recommend solutions and implement action plans.
    • Perform complex analysis, design and coding activities for a SaaS application deployed/hosted in a public cloud
    • Assist Product Owner in grooming the backlog, clarifying acceptance criteria and adding technical requirements
    • Research and troubleshoot problems discovered by product support and develop solutions.
    • Participates in performance testing, results evaluation, and action plans.
    • Champion automated unit testing as part of the software development cycle
    • Follow & establish coding standards and development processes.
    • Lead & evaluate proof of concepts for continuous improvement, which may include new patterns, cloud services and tools to advance the product
    • Help plan sprints, run daily standups and retrospectives.
    • Provide guidance and mentoring to the individuals and team.
