As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Global Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives. Job responsibilities * Design, Develop, and Implement RPA Solutions: Build, test, and deploy automation workflows and bots using UiPath Studio, integrating Python scripts as needed for advanced data processing * Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities, collaborating with business analysts, stakeholders, and team members to deliver effective solutions * Integrate Python scripts within UiPath workflows for data processing and automation tasks * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation solutions * Document technical solutions, workflows, and process changes * Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture * Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies * Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience * 4+ years of experience in RPA automation * Hands-on experience with UiPath Studio (workflow design, activities, debugging, deployment) * Working knowledge of Python (basic scripting, data manipulation, use of libraries) * Understanding of RPA concepts, best practices, and lifecycle * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Good communication and teamwork abilities Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Familiarity with REST APIs and web automation * Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) * Exposure to Agile/Kanban and JIRA etc. for project management and planning
