MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. * 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree. * 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. * 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms. * Experience developing accessible technologies. The Pixel Graphics System Software team works in Pixel devices from SoC conception all the way to field deployment. The team works with multiple teams at Google, including Android, Pixel Camera, Display, Video and Power. In this role, you will regularly engage with partners and vendors to come up with innovative and more performant ways to use the GPU as part of an integrated device package. The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Write product or system development code. * Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies. * Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). * Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback. * Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
