You will work in a highly collaborative environment, working on features, enhancements, and bug fixes to the platform that Guidewire customers use to connect their cloud systems. Job Description What you would do: Design, develop and run cloud-native integration platform and SaaS services Hands-on coding > 90% of the time Own Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) for your services Own scalability, availability, and data security for your services Triage & resolve code defects Maintain secure code and resolve app security findings At Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI—empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes. What you would need to succeed: Minimum 5-8 years of required work experience Excellent programming skills in Java Experience with Apache Camel integration framework is a plus Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, multithreading and AWS (or any public cloud) Deep understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, and performance optimization techniques Working knowledge with Kubernetes, AWS, and Docker Experience with AWS DynamoDB Experience with React.js is a plus Experience with SQS, S3, and Kafka are a plus Understanding of distributed systems concepts and principles (consistency and availability, liveness and safety, durability, reliability, fault-tolerance, consensus algorithms) Ability to work in an agile fast-paced environment B. Tech or M. Tech degree (Computer Science or equivalent) Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your role as well as use data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
