JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
You will join a wider global team that owns the Message Bus for Post Trade Technology, handling Settlement, Position Keeping and Asset Servicing communications between 200 applications across Securities Services and Markets with daily volumes in excess of 1.1 billion messages. You will join a growing agile feature team that is responsible for the Middleware team’s Data Engineering, which is a diverse development role responsible for forward engineering of code from UML communication models, the development of a data quality framework (patented), a performance testing suite and a client onboarding portal with automated workflows and tollgates. You will work closely with technology and business colleagues to understand both functional and non-functional requirements, and then help drive the design and implementation of well tested, easily supportable, scalable and robust solutions.
