QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years of experience working with modern engineering tools, languages and practices.
  • Intermediate proficiency with specific technical requirements/platforms (i.e. Java, JavaScript, .NET, Python)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, design and best practices.
  • Evolving analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Skillsets will include in-depth hands-on development experience in React, Node.js, CSS, HTML, JavaScript
  • Build and Testing tools – Gradle/Maven, Junit/Jest, Kevlar/Cucumber, Repositories – Git, Gitlab/GitHub/Nexus/Artifactory.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be focused on the User Experience build for the Holistic Supervision and Surveillance Platform custom build solution. Participating in design and development to deliver a Holistic User Interface that modernizes the user functionality currently available across legacy surveillance and supervision solutions.

  • Recommends efficiencies to current established development and continuous integration practices.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues that may arise during the development and deployment of software projects.
  • Conducts thorough code evaluation to ensure compliance with established coding standards and best practices
  • Has an evolving understanding of system-wide architectural challenges.
  • Contributes to technical discussions and decision-making processes within the team.
  • May take on a mentoring role and provide guidance and support to junior technical talent
  • Develops proficiently in front-end web development languages, strong in design principles
