Description
The successful applicant will validate the hardware and software interface between the main microcontroller of a product and its coprocessor, including prototype building, testing, and final product integration testing. Furthermore, they will aid in the development, performance analysis, and testing of analytics workloads. They will provide expertise for full hardware integration testing—from requirements and high-level design all the way through to delivery-in an agile environment, working closely with business units. This is a hybrid role: 3 days in the office. Accountable for end-to-end delivery of QA, from requirements gathering to fully automated tests, with stakeholder sign-off on final delivery Advocate and champion QA best practices Explore and recommend new tools and processes that can be leveraged across the company Mentor and develop other team members Develop a software-in-the-loop and processor-in-the-loop test harness for the target hardware Opportunity to work on Machine Learning QA (prior experience is not required but is a bonus) Previous experience in an embedded environment, with a proven track record of being part of a team shipping high-quality products Proficient in C/C++ and Python Experience with a source code control system, preferably Git Strong debugging skills in software and hardware Ability to produce test plans and reports, and to create, track, and resolve defects for functional and non-functional testing Excellent communication skills within teams of cross-functional stakeholders Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment Demonstrable estimation and prioritization skills Experience with Agile methodology
