The Tools and Technology Team within Creative Innovation is looking for accomplished people to help us fulfill our mission of providing creative tools and workflows that allow EA to lead the industry in content quality.
The Challenge Ahead As a Software Engineer in Test, you’ll take ownership of designing and implementing test automation frameworks from the ground up. You’ll collaborate with developers, technical artists, and our Quality Engineering lead to ensure the quality of our software, focusing on systems involving photogrammetry, automated rigging, rendering, and animation. You will report to a Development Director.

Responsibilities
  • Build, extend, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and tests using Python, JavaScript, Playwright, Postman, and AI tools, integrated with CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
  • Design and implement test strategies for complex systems such as photogrammetry, automated rigging, and generative animation
  • Analyze test results and work with developers to identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define quality standards, mentor junior SETs, and contribute to best practices in collaboration with the QE lead
