BLAST is growing rapidly and we are looking to push the limits of technology even further in order to deliver the best experience for our fans all over the world - from large-scale stadium events to intimate studio experiences. We are looking for a software engineer to help us build reliable and high performance systems for our events. Our team focuses on developing a very wide array of systems - often related to integration with the different games we do. This involves everything from game statistics processing to real-time data visualizations (such as game HUDs, broadcast graphics or stage visuals/automations) and tools used by our production team. There are always projects coming in, but we also encourage taking time to explore and learn new things. Our goal is to always look for new ways to use technology and constantly push the boundaries of what is possible. Most of our systems run on-site in our studios or at our live events all over the world - some of which you will be attending to ensure successful delivery and troubleshoot any potential issues. The team You will be working in a small engineering team where everyone has a voice throughout the entire process - from ideation together with our product teams to what technologies and architecture we should use. There are often new projects to work on, which also means workdays will be very varied. You will have frequent 1:1s with your manager, through which you will be able to work on your personal development and growth, by setting clear goals and getting, as well as providing, direct and actionable feedback.
