POSITION SUMMARY

Thales is looking for a Software Engineer, Innovation Projects | Graduate to
work as part of the CTO (Chief Technology Office) team to shape the future of InFlyt experience products and their features by contributing to the research, design, and development of new concepts and capabilities.
In this position, you will also be responsible for driving initial research, creating proof-of-concept implementations, and developing innovative new features as well as interacting with various stakeholders to solidify understanding of requirements and expectations, and deliver polished and consistent user experiences.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study with 0-2 yrs. Experience.
  • Knowledge in development GoLang, Java/Kotlin, python, and other modern languages; Solid understanding of both front-end and back-end software design principles.
  • Knowledge in development with web frameworks (React); Must have some experience with design tools such as Figma or Protopie.
  • Ability to deliver polished and consistent user experiences; Comfortable exploring the unknown and building solutions in new, untested areas; Must be able to demonstrate innovative problem solving abilities.
  • Must have clear communication with team members and product owners; Ability to interact with individuals to solidify understanding of requirements and expectations; Must demonstrate personal accountability

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Schedule: Core business hours, Monday – Friday, may be required to work outside core business hours with flexibility to attend meetings in different time zoned and option for 9/80.
