We are looking for a talented Software Engineer I to join our team specializing in IT for our CUMMINS in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Hybrid role: 3 days on site, 2 days home office. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Collaborating with a variety of people in multiple Engineering teams across Cummins, management and information technology (IT) staff during the creation, implementation and maintenance of a system. * Define application interfaces, integrations, and Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs). * Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business value and maintain strong working relationships. * Ability to work and learn with multiple technologies and platforms. * Collaborate with Engineering to design, develop, and implement software solutions aligned with business needs. * Translate business requirements into system specifications, architecture, and applications. * Analyze system requirements, data flows, and processes to define effective technical solutions. * Follow software development lifecycle best practices, ensuring quality, documentation, and timely delivery. * Continuously improve applications and solutions through analysis and modernization.
