Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Candidates local to San Jose, San Francisco, or Lehi offices nice to have. Open to exceptional candidates who are remote.
Duration: 6 months
Contract Type: W2 only
Pay Rate: $88.02/Hour

Skills:

• Experience in working with highly trafficked, scalable web applications.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and ES6.
• Experience with NodeJS, module bundlers, task runners and code compilers.
• Expertise with developing for class A web browsers while maintaining graceful degradation.
• Deep understanding of DOM, accessibility standards and SEO concepts.
• Mastery in writing performant code, understanding functional, asynchronous programming and responsive development.
• Experience writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks.
• Experience with CMS technologies like Adobe Experience Manager or Adobe’s Edge Delivery Service is a plus.
• License or advanced programming degree and 5 years proven experience with web development.
• Proficiency in English, excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education:

• License or advanced programming degree and 5 years proven experience with web development

• Build, enhance and maintain the Client’s public website.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Business owners, product management, product teams, IT, and vendors.
• Work with multiple teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions needed to build innovative web solutions.
• Research tools, technologies and software development processes and propose innovative, pioneering solutions.
• Collaborate with other team members and contributors to the code base to properly identify problems being faced and to arrive at the best possible solutions.
• Act as a custodian for the shared codebase, reviewing contributions made by other teams to ensure that proper tests are written, established conventions are followed, and backwards compatibility is maintained.
• Test and debug issues across multiple systems and domains
