We are looking for Full-Stack Software Engineer Interns who want hands-on experience designing and building both backend and frontend systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. If you love coding across the stack, solving challenging problems, and delivering real impact, this role is for you. What You’ll Do Design, implement, and deploy scalable backend services Build responsive, user-friendly frontend applications Work across the full stack, integrating frontend interfaces with backend systems Collaborate on API design, database modeling, and system architecture Debug and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability Participate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide engineering best practices What You Bring Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, EE, or related field Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and backend frameworks (Django, Node.js, Spring) Solid understanding of databases, REST APIs, and software design principles Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and full-stack development concepts Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills Nice to Have Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure to low-latency or high-performance systems Previous full-stack project experience (personal, academic, or professional) Why Clockwork Work on challenging engineering problems Learn from a small team of senior engineers Build real-world applications that impact distributed systems at scale California sunshine and the heart of Silicon Valley tech culture Catered lunches and a collaborative, inclusive environment Clockwork Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
