Role Are you passionate about democratizing robotics and making the deployment of complex automated systems accessible for all? We are seeking highly motivated and talented interns to join our dynamic team and contribute to the advancement of robotics and industrial automation in an exciting internship opportunity. How your work moves the mission forward Contribute towards the development of robotics software (including our platform Flowstate and Open-RMF Site Editor). Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals in modern software development practices. Develop software for creating, editing, and testing digital twins of large-scale automated facilities using the Bevy video game engine. Create intuitive tools for analyzing mobile robot traffic and improving traffic flow. Emulate, visualize, and validate rollouts of entire days of factory operations in the span of seconds. Skills you will need to be successful Bachelor’s student in Computer Science or related field required (Master's students preferred). Knowledge and proficiency in modern software development languages, like C++ and Rust. Experience or interest in 3D application programming or video game development. Basic knowledge of simulation, especially discrete-event simulation. Ability to develop tools and intuitive interfaces for diverse robot functionalities. Basic familiarity with various kinds of robots, especially mobile robots and industrial workcells. Enthusiasm for developing tools to make robotics more accessible. Effective coordination skills for complicated software development efforts across teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
