ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled software engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in STEM subject, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong knowledge in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Experience building web applications and developing APIs (ideal but not required)
• First experience of working in fast-paced environments
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative cross-functional team environment
• Fluency in German

ABOUT THE ROLE

LANCH, the fastest-growing consumer company in DACH, is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. We’re building the food brands of tomorrow and the operating system for content creators & celebrities to launch them. You’ll be at the forefront of revolutionizing the food delivery industry.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that directly impact our business and the experiences of both restaurant owners and customers and learn from your peers. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining our core infrastructure, improving our internal APIs, and creating innovative solutions to complex business challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enhance and expand the LANCH internal API (FastAPI & SQLModel)
• Build the frontend for LANCH OS, our internal process and data management tool
• Build tools to automate processes and streamline operations
• Engage in full lifecycle application development, from conception to deployment
• Develop smart tech solutions to address pressing business problems
• Make critical decisions on core business and system infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
