Job Title: Software Engineering Intern, Robotics Location: This position is based in our Campbell, California offices, on-site & full-time. Imperative Care does not provide relocation or additional housing compensation for the summer internship. Why Imperative Care? What You’ll Do The individual will assist software engineers in the development of a playback tool for analysis of case telemetry. Implement visualizations of robotic motion within a workspace using telemetry, configurations, and kinematics Process and display robot sensor and state machine information Develop the software infrastructure to efficiently generate analysis metrics of the case progression What You’ll Bring Experience with Python and C++ Strong understanding of linear algebra Knowledge in kinematics, ROS, visualization tools, or software architecture is a plus Strong organizational skills: management of priorities, documentation, and timing Good interpersonal skills, effective communication, and partnership with other departments What You’ll Gain Imperative Care provides an opportunity for students to work in the dynamic medical device industry and gain valuable hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment, instruments, and facilities.
