Description

Overview We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Intrepid Solutions team. You will help design, prototype, implement, and maintain unique software solutions that are deployed on government client’s infrastructure. Above all, you should be highly motivated to do awesome work, curious about technology, and love working with a team of like-minded people. While specific experience relevant to current needs is important, we are most interested in engineers who are able to effectively learn and grow as the work requires. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities Design and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems Follow best practices to write well-tested, high performing code Identify and resolve issues found in existing code Integrate capabilities with external services and tools Participate in code reviews and mentor team members Communicate status and technical details with customers OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:This position requires onsite presence at Wright Patterson AFB. TRAVEL: Position does not require travel. Qualifications CLEARANCE: Active Secret clearance required. Candidates must be eligible for and able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. CERTIFICATIONS: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+) certification, required.
