Job Description The engineer must have hands‑on experience—in designing and implementing solutions within AWS. Responsibilities include gathering and refining technical requirements, facilitating clear communication across internal teams, and influencing or guiding key architectural decisions. This role offers the opportunity to learn, lead, and contribute to the design and evolution of technologies that power all Value Added Services across the organization. Responsibilities: Proficiency in cloud service knowledge skills is crucial since engineer filling this position is expected to Provide AWS subject matter expertise to team. Software security skills in AWS involve expertise in various aspects of securing applications and data on the platform. Strategize and implement ways to rearchitect solutions in AWS. Possess strong testing skills and a comprehensive understanding of the testing process within AWS. Familiarity with Docker technology is imperative. Contribute to development of new products by building quick POCs and converting ideas into real products. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high quality products. Have a passion for delivering zero defect code. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. ​ Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of relevant experience with software design, architecture and development life cycle. Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline Experience designing solution architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Solid foundation in cloud computing fundamentals, and understanding the different service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (public, private, hybrid). Solid experience in frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot, Sprint MVC. Proficient in Web Services/API Development using SOAP or REST, JSON and XML. Experience with containerization(Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.). Proficient in GIT/Stash, Maven, Jenkins etc. Passionate about delivering zero defect code that meet or exceed the proposed defect SLA and have high sense of accountability for quality and timeliness.
