Enterprise Systems is part of IS&T and owns the technology behind Apple's SAP environment and its modernization through the SAP Landscape Modernization (SLM) initiative. The team manages the continuous operation, maintenance, and evolution of the world's largest single-instance SAP deployment — a platform that sustains Apple's global supply chain and the integrity of its core financial systems. DESCRIPTION SAP Technology team within Apple is responsible for managing a large set of SAP systems, some the one of the biggest and busiest in the world. These systems support critical business functions within Apple. This team is technical owner of SAP landscapes. The team is primarily responsible for system scalability, availability, performance, Infrastructure security and Software life cycle management. We are looking for highly hands-on candidate with intellectual curiosity and deep knowledge on RCA and recommending and implementing best SRE/DevOps methodologies and ability to solve complex issues with creative ideas. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE, build/release/deployment automation. 5 years of experience in improving CI/CD tools, processes and procedures as required. 5 years of experience in designing and building CI/CD pipeline with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Kubernetes. 5 years of experience in Spark, Kafka, Zookeeper, Redis and other in-memory technologies is an added advantage. 5 years of experience in Oracle database and PL/SQL is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with MongoDB, Other NoSql databases Good understanding of micro-services architecture. Experience with container based technologies such as EKS , GKE , Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge on AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Route53. Demonstrated ability to write programs using a high-level programming languages or scripting, such Java,JS,Python,Shell etc. Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex Unix/Linux systems environment and applications implementations. Experience with logging infrastructure and using tools such as Splunk Ability to build tools from scratch when needed Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating across many participating teams.

Responsibilities

Manage the scalability, availability, and performance of Apple's large-scale SAP landscapes. Implement SRE and DevOps methodologies to ensure the continuous operation of core financial and supply chain systems.
