As a Software Engineer (L2), you will join a dynamic and collaborative team responsible for developing scalable web applications and backend systems that power high-impact digital experiences. Accountabilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy new features using React, Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and related technologies. Maintain and improve high-performing backend systems, ensuring scalability and reliability. Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure quality and timely delivery. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to incident response and post-mortems. Write unit and integration tests, maintaining CI/CD pipelines and high-quality documentation. Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to enhance system performance and user experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining modern web applications. Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and REST/GraphQL APIs. Experience with automated testing tools and CI/CD systems (e.g., Buildkite, Jenkins). Strong understanding of scalable backend architecture and performance optimization. Excellent communication and collaboration skills within remote agile teams. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and agile methodologies. Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and take ownership of deliverables. Bonus: Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or building testing frameworks. Competitive salary range depending on experience and location ($114,000–$168,000).
