Job Description We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune, India. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that drive our company's success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement complex software systems Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and industry standards Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications for performance and scalability Contribute to the development of software architecture and technical specifications Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Ensure software quality through rigorous testing and adherence to coding standards Document technical designs, processes, and solutions for future reference Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on object-oriented programming Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices Experience with relational databases and SQL Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture is a plus Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to a positive team culture Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends Additional Information We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
