JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to develop control systems for process equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in PLC programming and C/C++/C# , with Python experience considered an advantage.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing automation and machine control systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues related to system control and automation.
• Applying broad knowledge of sensors , actuators , and gas valves to support system integration.
• Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate hardware and software, enabling user-friendly equipment control.
• Providing on-site service , training , and troubleshooting support as needed.
• Assisting with product demonstrations and supporting sales initiatives when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering ; Master’s degree preferred .
• 5+ years of experience in motion control, automation applications, and system integration.
• Solid understanding of industrial and safety standards .
• Proficiency in SECS/GEM protocols is essential.
• Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is required; FEOL (Front-End-of-Line) experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to engage professionally across diverse teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated initiative , with a self-driven approach to problem-solving and project ownership.
• Proven relationship management and organizational navigation skills, with the ability to influence decisions effectively.
