WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME SOFTWARE ENGINEER (M/F/D) FOR OUR TES TEAM AT OUR HAMBURG-BAHRENFELD LOCATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Technology Enabled Solutions at Zeppelin Power Systems is responsible for developing IoT solutions based on engine and system data for a wide range of applications – including marine vessels, locomotives, combined heat and power plants. With our comprehensive AEC solution, we enable fleet-wide monitoring and ensure full transparency in the field. Our mission is to provide our customers with actionable insights into engine performance, environmental conditions, and other relevant data.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using AWS services, RabbitMQ, Flink, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and more
  • Build and manage modern data storage solutions to support analytical and reporting use cases
  • Develop and optimize APIs for seamless data access and system integration
  • Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external development teams, contributing to and enhancing our existing codebase
  • Communicate effectively with peers to build high-quality, forward-thinking products
  • Maintain consistency in documentation and code modularity, ensuring clarity and reusability
  • Advance our development best practices, and implement and improve testing and automation
