Job Description As a Software Engineer within the Manufacturing Domain you will be part of a team making architectural decisions, software development, and technology deployment throughout all manufacturing sites in close collaboration with colleagues in the business area. We take pride in supporting the production and handling of amazing LEGO® Experiences for children all over the world. Please note that this position is a parental cover for 10-12 months. Core Responsibilities Develop, code, operate, maintain and support robust and scalable solutions used in the LEGO factories all over the world together with other members of the product team. Nurture and facilitate a great engineering and coding culture with focus on high quality and good craftsmanship. Be curious about emerging technologies and methods in order to identify opportunities and apply to the benefit our platforms end end-users. Practise and facilitate DevSecOps: “You build it – you own it (and run it)” – focusing on security, testing, maintainability and operation throughout the development cycle. Engage with Product Manager, end-users and team members to help create maximum business value. Play your part in our team succeeding Manufacturing Technology supports LEGO operation which is warehouses and factories all over the world with software solutions to help produce and handle LEGO bricks and boxes. Specifically we are looking for an engineer for the Moulding Technology product team which works with software for moulding machines and processes. Do you have what it takes? Hands on experience in Software development and architecture Experience with .NET, React/Typescript Experience and interest in other relevant development tools and automated testing is a plus. Ability to clearly communicate concepts and resolutions with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Understanding of modern technology stacks and architectural patterns like cloud, event driven architectures and microservices Interest and ability to engage also in functionality considerations and discussions. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and git-based source control. Familiar with scrum and agile development methods Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
