We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help modernise Medserv’s core platform and solve some of our most important technical challenges. You will be one of the most senior hands-on engineers in the team, working across architecture, system design, technical delivery and engineering standards. The role is primarily focused on PHP and Laravel, with opportunities to contribute to AI-assisted features across claims processing, medical coding and billing automation.

• Design and build scalable PHP and Laravel systems
• Help modernise legacy applications safely and pragmatically
• Review critical code and improve engineering standards
• Support production incidents and long-term reliability improvements
• Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions
• Work with DevOps to improve CI/CD, testing and observability
• Contribute to AI-assisted product capabilities
