With the continued development of new breakthrough artificial intelligence (AI) models, the Azure Core team is growing to deliver the underlying platform that the next generation of AI models will run on top of! The Azure Core team is hiring engineers to join agile and diverse engineering teams in the Host Networking and Hardware Acceleration team. As a Software Engineer in the Host Networking and Hardware Acceleration team, you will contribute to the Azure host networking infrastructure by designing on and releasing agents into Azure carrying hardware and software components providing reliable and performant networking for the current and next generations of Azure hosts. You will also deliver Network Interface Card (NIC) servicing software for AI and other Azure workloads. An ideal candidate will have a passion for service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, low-level programming, operating system (OS) internals, virtualization, large-scale systems, performant design, hardware offloads, and test methodologies, and this opportunity will allow you to deepen your skills in these areas.
