Job Details Job Location: Mountain Capital Partners - Durango, CO 81301 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift: Day General Purpose: The Software Engineer role will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of coding projects using data analytics and AI. You will be responsible for building your own and testing 3rd party data-driven solutions and AI applications to optimize resort operations, improve customer experience, and streamline processes. In addition, you will help teach and mentor team members across the company in the areas of data analytics and AI, empowering them to leverage these tools effectively. Essential Duties/ Responsibilities: Design, develop, and iterate on data-driven and AI-enabled software solutions to support resort operations and guest experience Use SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze data from a variety of sources Build, test, and optimize machine learning models and applied AI workflows Evaluate and integrate third-party analytics and AI tools where appropriate Partner with operations, IT, and business teams to identify high-impact use cases for data and AI Translate complex analytical or technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders Create concise documentation, examples, and training materials to support broader adoption of analytics and AI tools Mentor and advise team members across the organization on best practices in data, analytics, and applied AI Monitor, validate, and continuously improve data pipelines, models, and deployed solutions Qualifications Education or Formal Training: Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred). Experience: Required: Strong experience with SQL and Python for data analysis, reporting, and automation. Experience in data analytics and building machine learning models. Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for coding and building innovative solutions. Ability to explain complex data analytics and AI concepts to non-technical team members. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams across the company. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
