Job Description We are looking for a skilled .NET Core Developer with experience in building cloud-native, scalable applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in system design principles, and experience developing high-scale applications serving ~300K users. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core Build and deploy microservices-based applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Apply system design principles (scalability, resiliency, fault tolerance, performance optimization) Architect solutions to support high user traffic (~300K users) with optimal performance Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services Work with containerization (Docker) and orchestration via Kubernetes Implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions) Optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) Ensure application security, monitoring, and logging Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices Required Technical Skills Core Technologies Strong experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core Proficiency in C#, Web API development Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Cloud & DevOps Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines System Design Understanding of: Scalable system architecture Microservices patterns Load balancing and caching strategies High availability & fault tolerance Experience handling medium-to-high scale systems (~300K users) Database Experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL Performance tuning and indexing Other Skills Knowledge of API security (OAuth, JWT) Experience with logging & monitoring tools (Application Insights, ELK, etc.) Familiarity with message queues/event-driven systems (Service Bus, Kafka – optional) Good to Have Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Exposure to event-driven architecture Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Ability to design systems with scalability and reliability in mind Good communication and collaboration skills Ownership mindset Additional Information Our Benefits Flexible working environment Volunteer time off LinkedIn Learning Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
