RequirementsKey Responsibilities• Design, develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.• Build and optimise batch processing pipelines using Spring Batch for high-volume data workloads.• Contribute to the migration and modernisation of legacy platform components onto microservices architecture.• Deploy, scale and manage services on Kubernetes.• Work closely with architects and platform engineers to define data management patterns and service boundaries.• Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews and design discussions.• Troubleshoot production issues and support platform stability during migration phases.

Must-Have Skills• Java (strong core and object-oriented design)• Spring Boot• Spring Batch• Microservices architecture and design patterns• Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)

Good to Have• Front-end experience with React or Angular• Exposure to legacy platform modernisation or data migration projects• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker)• Familiarity with relational or distributed data stores
