Your area of responsibility:

• As an active member of our agile project teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our embedded software solutions
• In close cooperation with the developers and the product owners, you will carry out manual and automated tests and support the teams in validating the software quality
• You will create test specifications based on product requirements
• You will be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of automated e2e tests in the interaction of several components (controller, sensors, actuators, communication and HMI)
• You make suggestions for optimizing test automation and increasing test coverage
• You are jointly responsible for the further development of our automated test centers:
• of the CI/CD system (Jenkins), automated software testing, device & interface simulations, integration testing, automation of manual tests
• You will be involved in improving our quality assurance methods and agile development processes

Your qualifications:

• You have successfully completed a degree or apprenticeship in the IT sector or an apprenticeship in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology and experience in structured system and integration tests
• You have in-depth knowledge of embedded QA methods as well as experience in automated testing (rest APIs, UIs e.g. Angular)
• You have a good knowledge of one or more programming languages and are confident in using JavaScript, Typescript, Python and/or have knowledge of C++ would be an advantage
• You have knowledge in the implementation of automated tests
• Ideally, you already have experience with simulation frameworks
• You enjoy working in agile teams, are communicative and have a strong awareness of quality
• Your independent and proactive way of working will be rounded off by good German and English skills
