THE POSITION

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to join our growing Technology Development Center in Veszprém. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a talented team building and re-engineering OPSWAT’s security products. If you are a knowledgeable, creative, passionate individual who is interested in designing and building unique security solutions that no one else is building, then you are the one we are looking for!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Strong command of C++
  • 3+ years programming experience for Windows and/or Linux platforms
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Expertise in multi-threaded programming and memory management
  • CI/CD experience, good skills in version control (preferably Git)
  • Experience with containerization and working in QT framework is nice to have
  • Experience with REST API utilization and SDK integration would be an asset
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence will be preferred
  • Knowledge in Rust and Python is an advantage
  • It’s good to have experience with Agile / Scrum working environment
Responsibilities
  • Plan, design and develop C++ - based cyber security application and software
  • Review design spec/coding
  • Product maintenance
  • Implement new versions of the product
  • Design specifications and write test cases
  • Provide inputs and documentation of new or existing features
  • Partner with your agile team members on delivering sprint commitments
  • Work with local and remote engineering teams to deliver on quarterly goals
