MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar field
  • Experience with Android Frameworks/ OS, macOS, or Windows internals or frameworks services
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of Software development experience
  • 3+ years of experience in developing any of the following: Desktop applications, Operating Systems, AOSP, Identity, Device management on iOS/Android, Device Security, Android Enterprise
  • Experience with coding in C++ and Java or Kotlin

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience developing software for Mobile platforms (Android/iOS)
  • Experience with Android performance tools and security models
  • Experience with Android UI frameworks and services
  • Extensive experience with any of the following: Android internals, AOSP, Android SDK, Android NDK, Android JNI, Android IPC mechanisms, Linux OS development
Responsibilities
  • Directly contribute to experiments, including designing experimental details, writing reusable code, running evaluations, and organizing results
  • Contribute to publications and open-sourcing efforts
  • Work with a large team
  • Help identify long-term ambitious research goals as well as intermediate milestones
  • Prioritize research that can be applied to Meta’s product development
  • Mentor other team members. Play a significant role in healthy cross-functional collaboration
