The Details: We are currently seeking a dynamic Software Engineer to join our expanding DevOps organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Quality Assurance, Product Owner, and Operations Teams to develop innovative applications that span across our company’s various lines of business. This role is ideal for a solution-oriented individual with a strong understanding of software development and a passion for technology and collaboration.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 to 5 years of full stack development experience required
  • Insurance or Financial Services experience preferred
  • Willing to learn Pega platform (pega.com)
  • Service creation and integration experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication
  • Strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to deliver quality results in a rigorous and dynamic business environment
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including review logs and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Participate in the full development life cycle, including design, coding, testing, and production release.
  • Create and execute unit test cases that correspond to the needs of the software’s use cases.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for code deployment
  • Automate and streamline operations and processes to rapidly release reliable applications.
  • Build and maintain tools for deployment, system monitoring, and application performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain system quality.
  • Translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements and implement those requirements as designed
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team’s effectiveness.
