Our team is looking for a great Software Engineer to work on the development of an innovative Smart Home Device system, which involves connecting HVAC devices directly to the Cloud. This system includes remote device control and monitoring solutions, enabling efficient management, real-time performance tracking, energy consumption analysis, and ensuring the system's health. What is the project about? Since 2018, Proekspert has been collaborating with a leading global heat pump manufacturer. Our team is dedicated to designing and building Cloud solutions that enable efficient control and monitoring of heat pumps. We enhance system performance and set up monitoring tools, providing round-the-clock system control for our client's technicians and end-users. This allows seamless management and optimal user experience at all times. Technologies used in the project: C#, .NET, MS SQL, Entity Framework, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure. What will you do? Modernize, unify, and improve the usability of existing automated test suites. Explore AI agent-driven workflows for testing and quality assurance. Use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code) and share workflow discoveries with the team. Collaborate closely with senior engineers who will mentor you on architecture, testing strategies, and system design. Qualifications We’re looking for a team member who: Has 2 + years of experience as a Software Engineer with .NET framework and C#. Has explored AI-assisted development tools on personal projects and is curious about integrating them into professional workflows. Cares about software quality and is interested in finding ways to ensure it. Writes code with intention and understands that every line should have a clear purpose and welcomes rigorous code review. Has excellent cooperation and communication skills. Is motivated, self-directed, and proactive. Has appetite to learn and work with large and complex systems.
