PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of professional software development experience (adjust depending on role level).
• Solid understanding of the full SDLC and modern development practices (CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing).
• Experience designing and deploying scalable software systems and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Experience with databases (relational and/or NoSQL), APIs, and system integration patterns.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our Digital Transformation department. You will execute across the full software development lifecycle, design and implement robust software architectures, and help deliver validated, production-ready systems that power our farms and digital initiatives. This is a hands-on role working closely with cross-functional teams and offers opportunities to grow into a subject-matter expert in your area of focus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute the complete software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and deploy software architecture and infrastructure.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Integrate components to create fully functional and validated systems.
• Establish and implement software verification and quality assurance procedures.
• Document designs and review code.
• Serve as or develop into a subject matter expert in the Consultant’s area of focus.
• Continuously strive for higher quality and productivity.
• Contribute to problem solving across the stack and apply engineering and coding skills to the highest priority problems.
• Contribute to documentation, planning and meetings as needed, to gather requirements, discover and communicate solutions, and share knowledge.
