About the Role

You’ll build and operate the data pipelines powering the Intelligence Platform, transforming data into reliable, anonymized insights for web experiences, internal tools, and AI-powered products.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using JVM technologies and modern data lake tools.
• Prototype data products quickly, gather stakeholder feedback, and iterate.
• Ensure data quality, freshness, privacy, and reliability through automated tests, monitoring, and alerts.
• Define data models and contracts for downstream teams and applications.
• Publish trusted data to internal tools and customer-facing products.
• Monitor pipeline performance, support on-call operations, and contribute to technical design and code reviews.
• Incorporate AI tools into your daily engineering workflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with data-intensive or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, or another object-oriented language.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, testing, and data quality skills.
• Experience turning complex, large-scale datasets into reliable data products.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
