NOTES:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Java or Python; excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer developing with a focus on data engineering and backend development.
• Experience working on a full-stack software development team in an agile development (Scrum preferred) with at least 3 years working in data engineering with relational and non-relational datastores.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and develop creative solutions to complex problem.
• A passion for innovation, learning and sharing knowledge.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate Certification.
• Experience working in public clouds (AWS preferred) with infrastructure-as-code.
• Expertise in debugging, profiling, and improving application performance.
• Experience in design and development of cloud native solutions, micro-services and backend systems.
• Experience working with in-stream data processing using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologies.
• Advanced level SQL and scripting; Manufacturing and/or Aerospace experience; experience with data-intensive applications.

• Participate in the development and maintenance of multi-tenant SaaS applications for new and existing capabilities.
• Actively participate in the different Scrum ceremonies as a team member.
• Contribute to standards and best practices and coach and mentor fellow and junior engineers.
• Deep dive into your users’ problems and partner with product managers to find and create efficient solutions.
• Owning software services for supply chain.
• Work with latest AI/machine learning models and integrate with software stack for supply chain.
