Network Architect - IT/OT & Network Security

Bielefeld, Germany | 3-6 Month Contract | End September StartWe are looking for an experienced Network Architect to support a key network transformation project in Bielefeld, Germany.The role focuses heavily on network security, IT/OT segregation and modern network architecture, making it ideal for someone with strong experience across industrial or complex enterprise environments.

Key Technologies & Responsibilities

• Fortinet / FortiManager firewall architecture and management.
• IDMZ and Purdue Model architecture.
• IT/OT segregation and network security.
• Network Access Control (NAC).
• VLAN and network segmentation.
• LAN migration and management.
• SD-WAN and VPN.
• WLAN Mesh and LTE router management.
• Zscaler.
• Supporting wider network transformation and architecture initiatives.
• 
  

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Network Architect in complex environments.
• Strong firewall and network security expertise.
• Hands-on knowledge of Fortinet and FortiManager.
• Strong understanding of IT/OT environments, Purdue Model and network segmentation.
• Experience delivering network migration/transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
• German language skills are essential.

Location: Bielefeld, Germany + some travel

Remote: Possible depending on project requirements

Duration: 3-6 months
