Forward Deployed Engineer – AI & Automation

Remote | UK / EU

€110K–€200K base + bonus

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a fast-growing AI company building intelligent automation for retail and consumer businesses.

You’ll work directly with enterprise customers to understand their workflows, improve inefficient processes, and build and deploy AI agents that work across real business systems such as ERPs, portals, spreadsheets and email.

What you’ll do

• Work directly with customers from initial discovery through to production
• Map and improve business processes and identify opportunities for automation
• Design and configure AI agents, including decision logic and exception handling
• Build integrations, scripts and prototypes using LLMs and agent frameworks
• Debug and improve agents in live production environments
• Work closely with customer stakeholders and help deliver measurable business results
• Share reusable solutions and feedback with Product and Engineering

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience delivering AI, automation or software solutions in customer environments
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents and prompt engineering
• Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers and navigating complex workflows
• Ability to turn business problems into practical technical solutions
• Experience with retail, e-commerce, CPG, supply chain or procurement is a plus
