You'll be building and improving the browser based product experience that Rakuten Rewards members use every day, across Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. Right now, the focus is bringing features that have already proven themselves on mobile across to desktop, a part of the product where the majority of Rakuten Rewards' orders already happen. You'll be working in JavaScript and TypeScript, close to the user experience, solving real problems across the web layer and the systems behind it.

This isn't a narrow, single product role either. Once you're across the browser extension work, you'll grow into the squad's broader suite of products, picking up new context and ownership as you go.
