Work directly with the founders and operations team to decide what to build, then ship it fast and iterate.

In your first weeks, you've shipped real features to production and managers and owners are using them.
Within a few months, you own a meaningful slice of the backend, and the systems you're responsible for are reliable enough that people stop thinking about them.
Over time, your reach grows across the stack and into the product decisions, and new engineers build on the foundations you've laid.
What you bring
3+ years of professional engineering experience, with real depth on the backend.
Strong in a modern backend language (preferably Golang/Python), comfortable designing data models, APIs, and services from scratch.
Experience shipping in a modern web stack (React + TypeScript).
Solid with relational databases and a good sense for structuring data well.
Curiosity about the frontend and a genuine wish to go full-stack.
A pragmatic, shipping mindset and ownership as a default: you see something broken and you fix it.
Nice to have (IaaS & IaC): AWS (or equivalent cloud), Terraform (or Pulumi), and comfort working on platform/infrastructure when needed.
Bonus: AI-powered product features, event-driven architectures, third-party API integrations, or early-stage experience.
