We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software products. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance existing systems, build new components, and deliver scalable, efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, experience with server-side development, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, write unit and integration tests, and ensure applications meet high-quality standards. The engineer will also help drive technical excellence through best practices, design patterns, and continuous integration processes. Accountabilities: Design component-level architecture and contribute to overall system design. Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications and components. Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure code quality and performance. Support ongoing programs and troubleshoot issues in production systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improvements. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and continuous integration practices. BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience coding in Java, including participation in full development cycles. Strong knowledge of Java 17 and familiarity with design patterns. Experience with Spring Framework and multi-threaded programming. Knowledge of distributed systems, high-performance, and scalable applications is a plus. Experience with RDBMS, JMS, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent) is advantageous. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
