This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer in the United States. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of a high-impact route planning SaaS platform, used by enterprise clients to optimize complex delivery operations at scale. You will work across both frontend and backend systems, building scalable, performant, and reliable features that address real-world logistics challenges. Accountabilities Design, build, and deploy core features for a route planning platform that efficiently assigns hundreds of orders across dozens of vehicles. Contribute to both frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (GraphQL, Postgres) development, with a focus on creating user-friendly, high-performing solutions. Implement functionality for real-world logistics scenarios, including driver breaks, fuel stops, and proof-of-delivery workflows. Enhance system reliability, maintain data accuracy, and improve application performance through proactive architecture and stability updates. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to plan and deliver fast, high-quality technical initiatives. Triage and resolve production issues promptly, ensuring timely fixes and minimal disruption to clients. Support a culture of clear communication, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team. 3+ years of frontend experience with React and Next.js, including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization. 3+ years of backend experience with Postgres and GraphQL, including writing efficient SQL queries and designing maintainable architectures. Proven ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term code health and scalability. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, comfortable discussing and resolving complex technical problems. Bonus: Experience in high-growth SaaS environments, logistics technology, enterprise-level system scaling, or React Native development. Competitive salary: $140,000 – $183,000 per year.
