This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer in the United States. As a Software Engineer, you will play a central role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications in a fully remote environment. You will architect robust backend systems, implement secure and efficient APIs, and leverage cloud technologies to support complex solutions. The role requires collaboration across development teams, ensuring code quality, system monitoring, and deployment pipelines are optimized. You will work with diverse technologies including Python, Django, MySQL, AWS, and front-end frameworks, contributing to the full software lifecycle. Accountabilities · Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF) and Python. · Work with MySQL databases to optimize data modeling and query performance. · Develop applications using Java and .NET Core as needed. · Architect scalable solutions leveraging AWS cloud services. · Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD. · Conduct vulnerability scans and ensure application security using tools such as Trivy, AWS ECR, and SonarQube. · Monitor system performance with tools like Splunk, SolarWinds, and Google Analytics. · Manage release cycles from requirements gathering to production deployment and perform additional tasks as assigned. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. · 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer. · Proficiency in Django Rest Framework (DRF) and Python. · Experience with MySQL, Java, and .NET Core (preferred). · Familiarity with front-end frameworks, with React highly preferred. · Experience with AWS cloud services and system monitoring tools. · Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and vulnerability scanning tools. · Prior experience with government or public trust projects (preferred). · Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. · Fully remote position with flexible work arrangements. · Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and all federal holidays. · Comprehensive health and dental insurance coverage. · Retirement savings plan with company contributions. · Pre-tax benefit programs and wellness support. · Professional development opportunities. · Performance and referral bonuses. · Life and disability insurance coverage.
