JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop well-organized and documented software for processing sensor data (using Python for training AI models and Rust/C++ for the robot).
• Test the perception software on real robots before release.
• Help create automatic tests to check how well the perception system works in challenging situations.
• Build tools to monitor the perception system’s performance when robots are in use.
• Provide support and fix issues for robot deployments.
• Test and evaluate different cameras, laser scanners, and other sensors.
• Collaborate closely with other teams (like navigation and fleet management) to meet project needs.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Experience with real-world hardware and software working together. Experience in research and development (university or industry) is a plus.
• Solid experience in software development, understanding how software is built and designed.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for seeing your software work on actual robots.
• Good communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work well with others.
